I'm Cristiana Bardeanu, I'm behind the name 84colors. I design and build interactive websites and create 3D graphics and animations for companies in the high-tech industry. I'm originally from Romania, but I now enjoy living and relaxing in Amsterdam.

The background story

Growing up in a family of engineers, I was always considered to be the more "artsy" one. Since I was very young I've been fascinated with colors and graphics so I started drawing and painting quite early.

I was especially fascinated with the power visuals have to tell a story, so after studying marketing for a while in University, I decided to launch my freelancing business designing websites for clients all over the world.

After designing and building websites for a few years, I wanted more and more control over the graphics that go in it, so started to also focus on photography, illustrations, learned some javascript to make things more interactive and more recently, I've been having a blast exploring 3D graphics.

Other stuff

I'm a big outdoors fan, so whenever I need a break, I head outside for a bike ride with one of my 4 bikes (MTB, gravelbike, citybike and a little brommie). I'm also quite fond of tennis and play once or twice a week, so if you're in Amsterdam, let's hit some balls! Oh, and I also like to (badly) strum on my ukulele every day. 🎶
